The Center's primary emphasis is to assure advocacy services for abused and neglected children by providing and promoting professionally sound, timely, and ethical legal and social work policy and practice.

The primary goals are to provide direct representation for children; develop broad community involvement, education and advocacy; promote systemic reform; and develop community based support of both volunteers and paid legal and social service professionals.
